Grapes

To get the instant glow on your face, take handful of grapes and mash them, apply this paste on your face and leave it for 10 to 15 before rinsing off with plain water. While you apply the paste, rub it for few seconds.

Cucumber

Mix two tablespoons of cucumber juice with one tablespoon of glycerin and two tablespoons of rose water. Apply this mixture on your face before you are going to step out from the home. It helps to protect the skin from the sun tan and damage, repeat doing this after returning.

 Sandalwood

Prepare a smooth paste from two tablespoons of sandal wood powder, a pinch of turmeric and two tablespoons of raw milk. Spread this paste on your face and hold it until it becomes dry. Rinse off with cold water to get the natural and refreshing glow on the face.

Milk and lemon juice

Add two to three tablespoons of fresh milk with half tablespoon of lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Stir the mixture with a spoon to dissolve salt in the milk. Now apply this on your face with the help a cotton swab, leave it for about few minutes and then rinse off with cool water. It is a simple herbal remedy to open the skin pores and to clean it.

Tomato and lemon

To three tablespoons of tomato juice add half tablespoon of lemon juice, mix both of them together and apply it on your face in the circular motions. Leave it until it becomes dry and then rinse off with plain water and pat. It will make your skin soft and glowing too.

Wheat flour and sesame oil

Mix two tablespoons of wheat flour with a pinch of turmeric powder and few drops of sesame oil. Simply mix them and apply it on your face. It is an easy home made remedy to remove out the unwanted hair on the skin.

Groundnut oil and lemon juice

Mix small amount of groundnut oil with a dash of lemon juice. Apply it on your face and clean it after 10 to 15 minutes. Do this remedy regularly to kick off pimples and blackheads.

Ghee and glycerin

This a simple home made recipe for skin moisturizer. Take half tablespoon of ghee in a bowl and add it few drops of glycerin. Mix both of them and apply on your face, hands and neck to moisturize the skin.

Yogurt and apricot

Take one apricot and mash it, now add the mashed apricot with one tablespoon of yogurt and mix them well to get a fine paste. Spread this on your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and then pat with a smooth cloth.

Green tea scrub

Leaves of tea can increase the production of collagen in the body. They maintain the elasticity of your skin and make it glow.

Ingredients:

  • Some leaves of tea (1 spoon)
  • 2 teaspoons of Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cream

Procedure:

Bring a spoon full of leaves of tea to boil in some water. When the leaves impart some colour, remove the kettle from the stove. Take a bowl and add two teaspoons of the liquid to it. Add two teaspoons of brown sugar to the tea. Add 1 teaspoon of cream to this mixture and mix it well. Apply all over the face in circular movements. Scrub the face gently and when the mixture dries, wash off using some cold water.

Sooji scrub

Sooji is an unusual ingredient, but did you know that it can exfoliate the skin and make it glow?

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons of Sooji powder
  • 1 teaspoon of milk

Procedure:

Take three teaspoons of Sooji powder and mix it with one teaspoon of milk. Mix well to apply on the face after forming a paste. Scrub the mixture gently and then, wait for it to dry. Rinse it with some warm water. You will see the results

Lemon and sugar scrub

Lemon and the granules of sugar both help in removing the dead skin cells and in exfoliating the skin. Moreover, lemon is a bleaching agent and can whiten the skin.

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar

Procedure:

Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice to 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mix them both slightly and then apply this mixture to the face. Scrub in a circular movement and then, leave it on the face for ten minutes. Rinse it with some water to reveal a glowing face naturally.

Papaya face pack

Pieces of papayathat are ripe containbeta hydroxyl acid or BHA and this acid acts as a mild exfoliating agent. This leaves behind a gently glowing skin after having removed the dead skin cells. It also clears the oil and the dirt that can lead to the break out of acne.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe papaya
  • 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Procedure:

Take a papaya that is ripe. Diceinto little pieces. Add onetsp sandalwood powder to the papaya pieces. It will make the skin soft and supple. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to this mixture. Honey will hydrate the skin since it is a natural moisturizer. It will also reduce the blemishes on the skin. Mix all of them to get some consistency. Applyon all over the neck and face. Keep the mixture for twenty minutes on the face till it dries and then, rinse with cold water. It acts as an anti-aging face pack and makes the skin firm.

Egg pack

The white of an egg is rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals, and the like. So, it will nourish your skin. It is known to lighten the skin complexion by exfoliating the skin. The egg white also helps to nourish the skin by countering the wrinkles and giving the skin a more youthful look.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg

Procedure:

Extract the white of an egg. Then, whip it up till it forms some foam. Add some lemon juice and a tsp yogurt to it. Mix the ingredients and form a smooth paste and then, apply all over the face. Leave for approx.fifteen minutes until it dries up completely. Then, wash it with some warm water. You will begin to see the results very soon.
