Take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of tomato pulp, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix them together and then apply to the face. Let it dry for about half an hour. Wash with some cold water. The juice of tomatomay cause your skin to itch at first, but then it will stop doing so later on.
Coconut water and sandalwood face pack
Sandalwood has always been used a lot in preparing face packs due to its healing and medicinal properties. Sandalwood paste or powder cleanses the skin naturally and it removes the impurities in the skin easily. It also removes the dead skin cells easily along with the impurities.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder
- Some coconut water
- Some drops of almond oil
Procedure:
Mix one tablespoon of coconut water with 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder. Add some almond oil to this mixture to form a paste. Apply this paste on the neck and the face. Leave it on for about twenty minutes’ time and then, wash it off using some water.
Saffron and coconut water face pack
Kesar or saffron has always been used as an ingredient in skin care. It helps in toning the skin, brightening it, and by preventing the formation of pimples and acne on the skin.
Ingredients:
- Somesaffron strands
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of coconut water
Procedure:
Mix 2 tablespoons of coconut water and 2 tablespoons of wheat flourand add the saffron to it. Soak the saffron in it overnight. Blend the mixture using your fingers and then,evenly apply on the face. Let it dry up for about twenty minutes’ time and then, wash it off using some water.
Honey and pineapple face mask
Pineapple helps in removing the dead cells in the skin through the enzymes present in it. The Vitamin C that is present in pineapples also helps in reducing the effects of aging and also helps in bleaching the skin.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of the pulp of pineapple
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Procedure:
Mix one tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons of pineapple pulp. Apply on the face. Wait and let it dry for about three to five minutes. Then, wash it off thoroughly with some water.
Lemon and cornmeal face pack
Cornmeal helpsremovethe blackheads as well as the dead skin cells from the skin. Without drying the skin, cornmeal can remove the excess sebum and oil from the skin. This is why it is much sought after.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt
Procedure:
Mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt, one tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of cornmeal together. Massage the face gently in a circular motion using your fingers for about three minutes or so. Let it be on the face for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Then, cleanse the face with some water.
Wheat flour face pack
When you apply wheat flour to the skin, it can improve the tone of the skin andmake the dark spots fade away.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- Some water
Procedure:
Make a paste out of wheat flourby adding some water to it. Apply it to the face and leave it on for about fifteen minutes and then, wash it off for fairer skin.
