Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Masoor Dal (Red Lentils)
- Milk cream/Milk
Wash the red lentils in fresh water and then strain the extra water. Now grind them lightly in a grinder. Ensure that the lentils do not turn to a very smooth paste, rather let the paste be coarse with medium sized lentil pieces. Now add fresh milk cream to the paste if you have dry skin. In case you have oily skin, opting for double toned milk instead of milk cream is suggested. After you mix the two ingredients properly apply the thick paste evenly on your face and neck in an upward direction. Leave it there for 20-30 minutes and then wash with fresh cold water rubbing lightly with both the hands. After you have washed off the pack completely, pat dry.
Coffee and Honey face pack
Coffee has excellent skin rejuvenating properties and it can clear the dead cells efficiently without ripping off the essential layer of moisture from the skin.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon coffee
- 1-2 teaspoon of honey
Mix the coffee with adequate quantity of honey to make a paste. It is best to use coarsely grounded coffee beans rather than the powdered ones for this pack. After you have mixed the two ingredients well and you have a homogeneous paste, apply it in an upward direction with the help of a brush. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes. Then add some water and rub lightly with both your hands. Wash off with normal water and pat dry. This face pack is excellent for removing dead skin cells and nourishing the skin.
Oatmeal and Yogurt
The Oatmeal and Yogurt face pack is one of the easiest yet highly effective homemade skin packs for removing dead skin cells and infusing the goodness of yogurt into the skin.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Oatmeal
- 2 teaspoon Yogurt
Mix the mentioned quantity of Yogurt with the Oatmeal to make a paste and apply it on your face and neck in an upward direction. Do not keep the face pack prepared for long before applying it. Prepare it fresh and apply immediately. Keep the pack on for 20-30 minutes and then wash with normal water while rubbing the skin with both the hands. Wash off the pack completely and pat dry to get a clean glowing face in minutes.
Fuller’s earth and Glycerin face pack
Fuller’s earth is infused with the goodness of natural minerals that can boost the natural repairing mechanism of the skin while exfoliating it efficiently.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of fuller’s earth
- 2 – 15 drops of Glycerin
- clean water
Take the fuller’s earth in a small bowl and add Glycerin to it. If you have a dry skin, you can add as much as 10 drops of glycerin to the face pack, but if you have oily skin it is better to stick to 1-3 drops of glycerin for this pack. However, the amount of glycerin used can be more in dry winters. Now add clean water to the mixture and make a smooth paste. Apply the pack thickly and evenly over your face and neck. Leave it for 20 minutes and then rub lightly with your hands after adding water. Finally wash off with water and pat dry.
