Hair packs/masks for curly hair

How to go about it?

Mash the banana and add egg. Discard the yolk as the egg white is needed, but it’s okay if some of it drops in! Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil followed by the leave in conditioner. Blend the ingredients in a mixer and apply. Let it dry for 15 minutes and then wash off with water. Use regular shampoo.

Banana and Mayonnaise

Banana and mayonnaise is a good combination for strengthening and moisturizing. It also adds shines and makes your hair bouncy.

What you need?

  • 2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • Few drops of essential oil

How to go about it?

Peel the bananas and puree them in a mixer. Pour it in a bowl and then add mayo and olive oil. Blend the ingredients well. Apply the mix to your hair and let it absorb for 30 minutes. Rinse with water and add 3 drops of essential oil to lessen the smell of mayo. If you have some mask leftover, store it in the refrigerator and use an air-tight container.

Yogurt and Honey

Yogurt and honey helps you have smoother curls and add nourishment.

What you need?

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 vitamin E gel capsules

How to go about it?

Simply mix all the ingredients together and apply on your hair. Place a shower cap for 30 minutes and rinse!

Tropical Hair Mask:

For a healthier look and moisturized hair texture, you can opt for this remedy.

What you need?

  • 1 banana
  • 1 mango
  • Olive oil
  • Teaspoon of Vitamin E oil

How to go about it?

Wash your hair with cold water. Cut the mango and discard the seed. Put the slices in the blender. Now cut the banana in chunks and put the pieces in the blender. Now add olive oil and vitamin E oil. Blend till it is liquid enough to apply on hair. Wash off after 20 minutes and then shampoo.

Honey and Olive Oil

This is a great conditioner for all types of curly hairs.

What you need?

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ cup of honey

How to go about it?

Blend the two ingredients. Apply in small amounts, one at a time. Make sure you coat the entire head. Cover hair with shower cap and let it be for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse and shampoo.

Eggs

This remedy would add protein to your curly hair.

What you need?

  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

How to go about it?

Beat the eggs and add olive oil. Blend and apply smoothly through hair. Lock hair with plastic wrap, and let the strands absorb the protein from 10 minutes. Rinse well and shampoo.

Eggs, Milk and Lemon

To get smooth and soft hair with 2 hours, all you need is this!

What you need?

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 2 & ½ tablespoon of milk
  • 2 eggs

How to go about it?

Beat eggs and add lemon juice till creamy consistency.

Take a bowl and put milk in the microwave for around 15 seconds. Take it out to stir, and heat for 10 more seconds. If your milk curdles, don’t use it. Get some fresh milk and repeat the process.

Take a spoonful of milk and add to egg and lemon mix. Pour it like that till it empties. If you pour milk right in, the eggs could scramble.

Separate hair in 4 sections and massage mask in your scalp. Focus on roots and tips heavily.

Let it dry for 2 hours and lock your hair with shower cap during that time.

Wash off with cold water condition. Shampoo could dry your hair out!

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds have a lot of benefits for the curly haired beauties. This mask also improves hair growth. The styling would depend on the condition you use after the mask is rinsed. You could add some butter for protein.

What you need?

  • 2 tablespoons of 100% organic and sprouted pumpkin seed butter
  • 2 tablespoons black castor oil (extra dark)
  • 2 tablespoons of protein balancing conditioner.

How to go about it?

Mix all the ingredients and apply on dry hair. You could need some more conditioner to make the application easier. Lock your hair with a shower cap for 1 hour at least. Let the mask dry and stiffen. Rinse with cold water and shampoo.
