Ingredients 

  • Indian goose berry or amla powder
  • Neem powder
  • Green gram powder
  • Holy basil leaves powder
  • Hibiscus flower powder

All the above mentioned powders are easily available at any herbal store or you can prepare it in the home by drying them and making powder. Take a bowl and add two table spoons of amla powder, and same quantities of neem powder, hibiscus flower powder, holy basil leaves powder and green gram powder. To this, add four to five table spoons of curd and mix it well to form a thick paste. Add extra amount of curd in order to turn the paste more smooth and thin. Dab the paste to scalp and hair thoroughly with finger tips and let it sit for 30 to 45 minutes and rinse of with mild shampoo.

You can use this hair pack directly or after massaging with hot oil. If you apply it after the massage, it helps to strengthen the roots of the hair and to take away the hair fall conditions. Sum up to the all, it has the nature to tune the hair smooth, silky and shiny.

Hibiscus leaves and flowers

A hair pack made from fresh hibiscus leaves and flowers can be very effective to control hair fall. It will also make your scalp and hair healthy. Crush 20- 30 hibiscus leaves and flowers depending on the length of your hairs. Apply this pack to your scalp and hairs. Leave on for 30 minutes to an hour covering your head with a shower cap and wash off with cold water without a cleanser. You can repeat this pack every alternate day to get best results.

Egg with honey

This nourishing hair pack can be very effective to control hair fall due to damage. Mix an egg with 2 spoons of honey and apply this pack onto your scalp and hairs. Leave on for 30-40 minutes and wash off with a mild cleanser. It will also make your hairs soft and detangled. Repeat twice a week.

Fenugreek seeds with neem leaves

Fenugreek seeds have high arginine content which can be very effective to boost the hair roots. Neem on the other hand can cure any scalp infection and itchiness, including dandruff. Soak 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in clean water overnight. In the morning strain the water and make a paste of the seeds. Crush 10-15 neem leaves and mix it with the fenugreek seeds paste. Apply this pack onto your scalp and hairs, leave on for an hour and wash off with plain water. Repeat 2-3 days in a week.

Onion juice with Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a moisturizing agent and it has skin soothing properties. Onion is capable to re-invigorate the hair roots restricting hair fall and promoting hair growth. Crush two onions and squeeze out the juice and mix it with Aloe Vera pulp freshly prepared from Aloe Vera leaves. Apply this pack to your scalp and hairs, leave on for 30-40 minutes and wash off with a cleanser. Repeat on alternate days.

Garlic juice with coriander leaves

Garlic has high sulfur content which can be very effective to increase the production of collagen and also to fight any scalp infections. Coriander leaves has anti-bacterial properties and they can soothe the scalp. Collect the juice from a fresh garlic and mix it with the crushed coriander leaves. Apply this pack to your scalp and let it set for an hour. Wash off using a mild cleanser and plenty of water. Repeat 3 days a week.

Indian gooseberry and shikakai with olive oil

Indian gooseberry is very effective to control hair fall. Take 2 fresh Indian gooseberries and 4-5 strands of shikakai. Wash them clean and separate the seeds. Now crush these two in a mixer to make a smooth paste. Finally add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pack and apply it on your scalp and hairs. Let it set for around an hour and wash off with an SLS free cleanser. Repeat at least 2 days a week for effective results.

Coconut milk with curd and honey

Squeeze out the milk of half of a coconut after crushing it. Mix it with a tablespoon of curd and 2 teaspoons of honey. Apply this hair pack onto your scalp and hairs, leave on for one hour or more and wash off with water. Use a mild shampoo only if needed. Repeat this pack on 2 days a week.

Rosemary leaves with almond and honey

Soak some rosemary leaves in water and in the morning crush them in a grinder to make a smooth paste. Crush 4-5 almonds and mix them with the paste of the rosemary leaves. Finally add 1tablespoon honey to the pack, mix well, and apply onto your scalp. Rosemary will fight any scalp issues including dandruff and itchiness, while almond and honey will moisturize your scalp and nourish your hairs. Repeat twice a week for best results.
