Bras are the complex undergarment for the ladies which take months to design before being finalised by the manufacturer. This garment gives a supportive figure to the body. It varies in size,colour and styles. There are different styles for women belonging to different walks of life e.g.sportswomen, teenage girls, baby feeding mothers and many more. Types of Bras

These are the bras in which the straps can be used in different ways. They can be crisscrossed at the back or taken to one shoulder, made into a halter style or removed altogether to get a strapless bra. It is useful for women wearing unusual style of tops. The straps are thin and so are not very comfortable for women with heavy and large breasts.
Corset style bras
These are a strapless bra which is fitted with long stretch of hooks and eyes in multiple rows. It is good for women with large breasts looking for strapless bras. The cups of these bras are of demi cup style. It creates a cleavage and gives perfect support at the back. It is not suitable for wide breasts and short wasted women. This undergarment extends from the bustling down to the waist or sometimes even to the hips.
Long-line Bras
It will extend down to the waist. It gives support to the breasts and reduces the stress on the shoulders and back. It gives shape to the entire upper body. It is a combination of the corset and the bra. It is not suitable for women with short waists, tomato or pear shaped bodies. It is not a very popular style but it is one of the best styles that gives support to the upper body and gives a better fitting to the garments worn above it. It provides focused support to the tummy and lowerback.
Front Closure Bras
Bras over here are different from the usual bras as they close in the front instead of the back…It is easier for women who have difficulty in taking their hands at the back to close the hooks. This style of bras has wider set cups which are suitable for wide breasts. It does not give a perfect fit to the body. It is a popular bra because it is easier to wear and take off.
Minimizer Bras
These are designed to reduce the projection of the breasts. It is a good style for women wearing button down blouses and having a full figure. It is also suitable for pendulous breasts. Women who want to avoid cleavage should not use this style of bra. It is also not suitable for those who perspire a lot an s the breast tissues move towards the under -arms. Similarly short waist women will have their breast tissue towards the neck with this style of bra. These bras do not reduce the size of the breasts, but make them feel smaller on the chest .A minimiser bra changes the shape of the breast to a more firmly held breast. The shape of the cup is designed with a broad diameter and small projection. The breast tissues are moved towards the arms than centred in the middle.
Padded Bras
It adds size to the bra as padding is inside the cups. The padding varies from light to heavy and it can be on the bottom, on the sides or evenly spread all through the cup. The pads are made of fibre fill or moulded foam. It is perfect for women who are looking for a larger profile but has smaller breasts. There are bras with removal pads which are useful for women who have one breast smaller than the other. These removable pads are called cookies
Petite Bras
These are specifically designed for a woman with a small frame in which the cups are close to each other, the straps and under wires are short. It is an ideal style for girls in their preteens. It is essential for one to have a B cup to use this style of bra. It is not suitable for grown up women as they will find the straps too small and the under wire uncomfortable.
